SV	En hij zond listiglijk boden tot Abimelech, zeggende: Zie, Gaal, de zoon van Ebed, en zijn broeders zijn te Sichem gekomen, en zie, zij, met deze stad, handelen vijandiglijk tegen u.
WLC	וַיִּשְׁלַ֧ח מַלְאָכִ֛ים אֶל־אֲבִימֶ֖לֶךְ בְּתָרְמָ֣ה לֵאמֹ֑ר הִנֵּה֩ גַ֨עַל בֶּן־עֶ֤בֶד וְאֶחָיו֙ בָּאִ֣ים שְׁכֶ֔מָה וְהִנָּ֛ם צָרִ֥ים אֶת־הָעִ֖יר עָלֶֽיךָ׃
Trans.	wayyišəl^aḥ malə’āḵîm ’el-’ăḇîmeleḵə bəṯārəmâ lē’mōr hinnēh ḡ^a‘al ben-‘eḇeḏ wə’eḥāyw bā’îm šəḵemâ wəhinnām ṣārîm ’eṯ-hā‘îr ‘āleyḵā:

AC	לא וישלח מלאכים אל אבימלך בתרמה לאמר הנה געל בן עבד ואחיו באים שכמה והנם צרים את העיר עליך
ASV	And he sent messengers unto Abimelech craftily, saying, Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed and his brethren are come to Shechem; and, behold, they constrain the city [to take part] against thee.
BE	And he sent to Abimelech at Arumah, saying, See, Gaal, the son of Ebed, and his brothers have come to Shechem, and they are working up the town against you.
Darby	and he sent messengers to Abimelech craftily, saying, Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed and his brethren are come to Shechem, and behold, they shut up the city against thee;
ELB05	und er sandte Boten an Abimelech mit List und sprach: Siehe, Gaal, der Sohn Ebeds, und seine Brüder sind nach Sichem gekommen, und siehe, sie wiegeln die Stadt wider dich auf.
LSG	Il envoya secrètement des messagers à Abimélec, pour lui dire: Voici, Gaal, fils d'Ebed, et ses frères, sont venus à Sichem, et ils soulèvent la ville contre toi.

Web	And he sent messengers to Abimelech privately, saying, Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed, and his brethren, are come to Shechem; and behold, they fortify the city against thee.
